Dr. G Dock Dockery, who likes to be called “Dock”, is noted for his teaching of surgery and dermatology and continues to be active in continuing medical education. Dr. Dockery is the Founder and Director of Scientific Affairs of the International Foot & Ankle Foundation for Education and Research, which promotes the development of new techniques in foot and ankle surgery and provides educational materials and medical seminars for podiatric physicians. Dr. Dockery is widely published, having authored 149 scientific writings: 109 scientific articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and medical publications and 40 chapters in medical textbooks or other clinical publications. He has authored or coauthored 5 textbooks including books on foot and ankle dermatology, forefoot surgery and plastic surgery techniques.
